Today, another adoptive mama from SK shared with me the letter she received from Nairobi CHC. Our Canadian Embassy in Kinshasa is requesting "THE LIST" from the DGM since they are in the same city. Our Embassy in Kinshasa does not do immigration, but can help take care of other business.
Please pray they go about this business swiftly. That's positive news - at least they are trying to retrieve this very valuable document which will enable us to get our girls' visas.
Times such as these, when Satan roars in the background and uses people for his evil purpose, and that fills us with fear, we look for a Leader to go before us. And we have such a leader in our Lord Jesus Christ whose courage never diminishes, whose promises and love never fail and whose presence goes with us. We can trust Him completely so that our faith will drive away our fear. We don't always know how things will turn out and we don't know what tomorrow may bring, but faith is rooted in what we know and in Who we know. We know whom we have believed and are persuaded that He is able to keep that which we have committed unto Him.
