Psalm 46:10

Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth!

Revelation of the day - which is really sinking in when things seem impossible and traveling soon seems more unlikely as the days pass: Guess what?! GOD DOESN'T need us to do it for Him; He DOESN'T even need us to help Him! But yet, He uses us....somehow...
We read verses about this all the time, but it's really only head knowledge until it's really put into practice!

When adoption gets messy and seemingly impossible, that's when GOD will shine through and get the glory!

1 Corinthians 13:12
12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

  1. It makes all the difference where our focus is. When we look at people and circumstances, we could get very discouraged and even depressed, disappointed and defeated.

    But when we look at our God Who has promised never to leave us or forsake us - a God Who knows our every need, concern and Who loves His children more than any earthly father of mother, we have hope and security.

    We have our personal agendas and God has His. So it is best we leave God to His agenda and look to Him to move His hand for us. Our impossibilities are God's opportunities for Him to shine in our lives. What is impossible with man is possible with God, and we need to learn this lesson time and again. The opposite of faith is fear, but love and faith rooted in Jesus Christ drives away our fear.

    Abraham thought to help God in fulfilling His promise of a son since it had taken so long to fulfill, and he acted in unbelief causing all the sad consequences that followed. Job confessed "Even though He slay me, yet will I trust in Him", (Job 13:15) and, committing everything to God, the outcome far exceeded his expectations as it always does. So God's plan and timing has a special purpose and lesson in it for us to learn.

    Psalm 37: 5 Commit your way to the LORD;
    trust in him and he will do this:

    And we know you are doing this and God bless you all in this time of (patiently?) waiting....
