Just a small update on the situation.
Our MP's office emailed this morning. Two things they were told by Nairobi which we pretty much already knew:
1). The DRC was contacted by diplomatic note, but was informed that "The LIST" requested would not be provided, and were informed that not all the names on the lists being circulated would be issued exit permits, regardless of whether a Bordeaux was signed and approved before the suspension (our situation).
2). Nairobi is contacting the DGM directly on individual cases to determine whether or not exit permits will be issued, should they be approved.
((We're assuming this is because at least one family tampered with the dates on the Bordeaux Letter to show they were done before the suspension.))
Another Adoptive Parent from Canada was told by Nairobi that the Nairobi CHC officials are heading down to DRC next week to investigate.
Pray for favor during this time that our file would be approved to receive exit letters as well as Canadian visas without too much delay.
