Today the Ambassador threw a Canada Day Celebration Party in her back yard. The Canadian Embassy here hasn't hosted the Canada Party for quite a few years - goes to show you how Ginette goes over and beyond.  There should be more like her in gov't. All Canadians in Kinshasa were invited (ones that registered their attendance in the country) - around 200+ attended including 7 of the Canadian families living here.  Poutine, drinks, and hot dogs. Girls absolutely loved the party!

  1. Count your blessings one by one. We often focus on the negative without seeing the positive. Every blessings comes from God - the God from Whom all blessings flow, He walks with us in the trials of life and He walks us through them. All we need is patience and trust in our Father who leads us all the way. His promises still stand.
    The king’s heart is in the hand of the LORD,
    Like the rivers of water;
    He turns it wherever He wishes. (Prov. 21:1)
    16 Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. Heb. 4:16

    In our continual prayers for wisdom and deliverance
