After two weeks of having the amazing privilege of living at the Canadian Ambassador's home (with only the cost of food), we have moved again to a Guest House.  It'll take a few days to get our bearings back but hopefully our stay will be short (in Kinshsa!!).

Another American family was caught last weekend trying to get their child out of the DRC without an exit permit (or one that was paid high bribes for) so that's why Boshab never signed the release of the files.  And this is exactly the reason why all other countries including Canada does not issue Canadian visas to our children without the DRC approval of an exit permit. They know how desperate adoptive families get for their children. Even though we may not agree with Congolese law, it still must be obeyed.

So now our files sit on President Kabila's desk.  Word has it that he will make a decision by Monday (or early next week).  We have to keep up the hope even though there have been so many delays and disappointments.

I am extremely proud of my family back home. They have stuck together well and are very supportive of fighting to get our girls home.  Every child deserves a family. There's no child that's not worth fighting for.

Thank you for your continued support in prayer and encouragement.
