The World's Richest and Poorest Countries
The most commonly accepted method of determining the wealth of countries and comparing generalized differences in living standards on a whole between nations is to use GDP per capita on a purchasing power parity basis in current international dollars.  By that measure, it is estimated that in 2013 the richest nation in the world is Qatar, with a capita GDP (PPP) of over 105 thousand dollars, while the poorest is the Democratic Republic of Congo, with less than 400 dollars.

  1. In Luke 11:9-10 Jesus encourages us to keep on knocking since we have a need and He has the supply. In fact, Jesus is saying , "This is what you should do when you need and answer from God: Keep on asking, keep on seeking and keep on knocking. Luke 11:10 Those who keep on asking will receive, those who keep on seeking will find and those who keep on knocking will find the door opened to them. This is our Lord's will. But we need to be prepared to receive God's answer, be persistent in prayer and faith, be patient in waiting for God's time and response and be purposeful in our goal to do His will. God is almighty, all gracious and all loving and caring. And He knows the needs of our hearts and all our concerns and circumstances. He alone has the answers to our questions and needs. In God we trust.
