What in the world is CONA? Stands for Certificate Of Non Appeal. Our adoption is 100% legal and official now and no one can appeal this decision. This is a huge milestone!! It came totally unexpected and arrived early - when does that ever happen in adoption?!
We're waiting for the Act of Adoption which should follow shortly and new birth certificates for the girls in our last name, and probably a few other documents that we aren't aware of, and all of these documents translated to English. Then Congolese passports for the girls need to be issued.
THEN..... we can apply for Citizenship - praying it'll be less than a month (always trying to be optimistic) when all documents are gathered and more forms filled out.
To God be the Glory! Please pray for no errors in documents.
