Court happens in the DRC in the district where our children are. We signed over Power of Attorney when we started the adoption so our agency's lawyer does all the leg work for us. In fact, everything from now on will get done in the DRC except for immigration.
We have not received any news about court yet. (maybe no news is good news?) Praying we hear this week!
Allowing the protective walls around my heart to fall down a few inches this week felt great! Couldn't help myself with a sale at Costco to start stocking up on diapers. Just that simple act made my heart skip a beat!
The longing to hold our girls is beyond words. It makes no difference in the world to whom these children were born - the deep love and excitement is penetrating the depths of our hearts just as a pregnant mother feels for her unborn child.
Please don't stop praying! Pray for patience, too!
