Vaccinations
In faith, we updated our Typhoid and Tetanus shots yesterday. Typhoid needs to be taken 2 weeks before travel. (Went to a more friendly travel clinic but had to drive to Burnaby for that). Our Yellow Fever is still valid and our Hep A and B are good for life. It's like insurance, there's never an end.For us not being big on vaccines, we opted for the minimum and going in faith!

It seems the final phase of this event is in sight, and you are making decisions in faith. According to Hebrews 11:6, faith is the substance of things hoped for and the evidence of unseen things. And so we think and act in faith based on knowledge. And this knowledge is not based on our own insights, and not on physical evidence, but on the God who has promised and who is faithful. We don't have faith in faith, but we have faith in our Lord and our God. And that is how you are proceeding. All we as humans can do is plan, and plan in faith, but our dependence is on our God who alone can make things happen.
ReplyDeleteWe have you last letter and prayer requests laying open before God to read - like reading the prayers of our hearts, knowing He already knows the silent prayers in our hearts, but this too is an act of faith and continual presentation before His throne of grace.
Psalm 123
1 I lift up my eyes to you,
to you who sit enthroned in heaven.
2 As the eyes of slaves look to the hand of their master,
as the eyes of a female slave look to the hand of her mistress,
so our eyes look to the LORD our God,
till he shows us his mercy.
