Exactly one year ago today, the DRCongo issued an "up to 12 month" suspension on exit permits for adopted children. They were to make an announcement today, but nothing. Emotions are high today.
For 12 months, we have grown anxious, worried, cried, begged, grieved over the loss of time with our children.
For 12 months, we've had a huge opportunity to trust God.
For 12 months, the ups and downs of emotions have been so extreme that has sent me into sheer exhaustion.
For 12 months we have rallied our government to issue Canadian visas for our precious girls.
For 12 months, Canadian Immigration has not acted favorably on our behalf.
you get the point....
Will you please continue helping us in our emailing campaign to the MP's of Canada? Our MP just became a bit more involved. It's hard (and uncomfortable) but necessary to add the pressure to those that can make change in our government. I know it's exhausting. Completely tiring. But we must press on. For the sake of our kids.
This whole thing is wrong. Everything about it. Every child deserves a family and we know that satan will do what he can to hinder adoptions. But in the end, God will be victorious.
Thank you for your help in advocacy and your prayers!!
