2,197 Signatures

As of noon today, we have 2,197 signatures.  Please keep the petition going. Another Canadian AP heard via a friend's friend that works in Ottawa that our petition is circulating among the CIC staff.  YAY.  We're getting heard! Now the big question is, are they going to do something about it?

Rumors are also circulating (as they have often) that the DGM will grandfather those adoptions that have B Letters and not make us wait out the DRC's new adoption laws.

We are emailing and calling our Canadian Embassy in Kinshasa (they don't do immigration, but can get information for us) if they could please meet with the DGM and get answers for us. We were told they were going there today.

All these hopeful tidbits of information sort of keep us going but also hanging. Such a rollercoaster of emotions constantly. We grieve for long periods of time at the loss of time spent with our girls, then there's hope, only to be dashed down with more politics.  We constantly pray but some days it's hard not to lose heart.

Please refresh your FB pages, emails, etc. There are alot of people who you and I know that haven't signed this yet. Thank you so much for your help!!
