Hopefully everyone is back to work, including government agencies. The Christmas holidays sure slow things down with all the closures!!!
Our authentication has arrived at the Stork in Virginia for the second time. Praying this time there are no snags and that our paperwork will be returned to our agency in record time.
The next step is getting our dossier sent to the DRC courts!
Everytime I look at our babies' pictures, it breaks my heart to think that more time has passed - needlessly - that they are not in our arms.
We need you to keep praying for us and our precious girls! The past few weeks have been more difficult with the slowdown of paperwork problems.
Patience is a virtue difficult to manage when we would have done things so differently. Abraham's patience was tested for 25 years waiting for God's promise to be fulfilled.
ReplyDeletePsalm 62:
1 Truly my soul finds rest in God;
my salvation comes from him.
2 Truly he is my rock and my salvation;
he is my fortress, I will never be shaken.
8 Trust in him at all times, you people;
pour out your hearts to him,
for God is our refuge.
These 2 dear little children are in God's hands. This is where you have placed them with your prayers and commitment to the Lord. There they are safe.
But we, as humans, also look at the negative possibilities and would like to prevent them, as if we were able.
So, on the one hand, there is faith, trust and patience. But on the other hand our responsibility to do whatever we can.
You have placed your concerns in God's hands in prayer. And now it is up to God to deal with the matter and situations. But be assured, He will walk you through this experience once again as He has in the past. "Great is His Faithfulness." He simply says "trust Me".
Sometimes we need to learn our faith lessons over and over again.
Prov.3
5 Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
6 in all your ways submit to him,
and he will make your paths straight.
Commending you all to the Lord's good care over you and your "Congo children", and walking with you in this,
love
