We just received the list of paperwork needed to update our dossier. Our complete dossier was translated last month but now we are adopting from a different region than originally planned so extra documents are needed. Some of these forms outdate quickly so another trip to Waal & Co was in place yesterday and then couriered off to our agency in Spokane. It was fun to finally share photos with them as they have been so instrumental in getting our legal forms done so quickly, each time at no cost! From there, these extra forms will be sent for translation into French. We pray it won't take too long, and that within a week our dossier will be off to the DRC for court. We are also waiting on a few more documents from DRC (ie. birth certificates).
Please pray for a speedy translation process as well as the gathering of Congo documents.
We just received updated photos of our babies! Talk about melting our hearts! Trusting God to give extra grace to the nannies who care for and love on them in our absence.
So exciting to see things move forward, even if slowly. I'd love to see a peek at the pictures sometime!
ReplyDeleteMany prayers.

We pray our new grandchildren will be kept safe.
ReplyDeleteIn times of stress, strain, challenge, and trouble, we have to take our stand in the truths of God's Word. Fiery trials serve only to refine faith. Troubling times reveal in Whom our allegiance truly lies. The Psalmist said: "The Lord also will be a refuge...in times of trouble.... For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion... He is (my) strength in the time of trouble.... (Psalm 9:9; 27:5; 37:39).
In times of trouble, we can take our stand in Him--He never fails us.
A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing!
