Do we ever get used to disappointing news? Nope! We got word today that it doesn't matter anymore that our names are on the first list. The DGM is revising the list (as it was incomplete) and now will not provide the old list to the Canadian officials. If Nairobi would have issued our visas when we first got hold of the original list, we would have been on our way.
Now everything is on hold again with the DGM until this new list is published (who knows when!), and so it looks like traveling before Christmas was just a nice thought.
So very disappointing once again. For many reasons it's better to get our girls home sooner than later, but also financially. If we get our children home this year (children arriving in Canada before Dec.31) that would really help us for income tax purposes since we've been at this for a few years.
Praying we keep our eyes on Jesus and His bigger plan. Our daughter's prayer last night: "God, it's not fair that others are getting their kids and we have to wait and watch everyone else hold their children. Please do a miracle." He understands our disappointments and struggles!
