I have deleted references to our ambassador in previous posts even though nothing has changed. It all has to do with job descriptions - politics are ugly!
There has been a measles outbreak in the DRC within the past few months so we decided to get the girls vaccinated. We're not huge supporters of vaccines, but an epidemic is an exception. Our orphanage director brought them to the Canadian clinic in Kinshasa to have this administered so we know they are the Canadian version and not the "left overs" that get sent to 3rd world countries.
