We have officially started on Part 2 Citizenship and Immigration.
This will take a few weeks to put together as it has to travel through 4 countries. Yikes, that sounds confusing. We filled in our part, and the package is now on it's way to Spokane, WA, for our agency to add their documents and fill in the blanks we didn't have the information for.
Then our agency sends it DRC for our international worker to add the original passports, birth certificates, etc and he will send it off to Nairobi for approval. Nairobi approves the Canadian visas for a large area of central Africa.
In the meantime, please pray that all documents will be free of errors and that the girls' passports (which are currently being applied for now) will come through by next week or sooner! Pray in faith that God will do more than we can ask or think!
It's another step in this journey of faith, and while we would like to see things speed up much faster, perhaps our Lord is telling us to be patient and have a quiet trust in His leading and proceeding, since we can do no more that what is being done. But the Lord, Who has been and is our shepherd during our pilgrimage, will not forget His sheep.
ReplyDeleteThis whole journey is like finding our way through a continual maze, and yet He guides you.
“Let not your heart be troubled,” His tender word I hear,
And resting on His goodness, I lose my doubts and fears;
Though by the path He leadeth, but one step I may see;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me;
His eye is on the sparrow, and I know He watches me.
Be blessed
